St John's Church Food bank is open to anyone that needs help with making ends meet. This can be a one-off occasion, or it can be an ongoing occasion.

To be able to use the service we just ask that you are open and honest with us as we will do our best to help you not only with food but also getting you help to deal with the issues that have lead you to needing to use the food bank.

The first week you come you do not have to bring anything but if you are wanting to continue to use the food bank then you will need to bring the following information with you:

  • Proof of who you are and address

  • Proof of all your income

  • Proof or all your out goings

The more information you bring the more help we will be able to give.

As we say some people just need it for a week other need it for a bit longer we are there to help in any way that we can.

If you are in the position where you could help support our food bank, then we would be very grateful for this as we run this on donations and we can always use more. We always ask people to buy value items as we can get more for the money people spend. The sort of items that we are always needing are things like:

Pasta, Rice, Soups, tinned veg, Beans, Noodles, Milk UHT, Canned Deserts, Any Tinned Items. Frozen item is ok, but we just ask you check we have freezer space first.

If you are unsure then please speak to Phil who runs the food bank and he will tell you what we are in need off.

Thank you for all your support and help this makes a massive difference to many people of all different sorts of backgrounds.
